35 soon

Well, that's not me. I'm not 35 yet. But will be soon. Lonely? not quite. I am alone in a big city, but I don't really feel alone or lonely, as I always go out to find things to do, such as going to McDonald's or Starbucks, or hanging out at Centro Historico, or taking Spanish class. I am also trying to go skating at the Ciudad Deportiva. We will see. I haven't got the chance to yet, even though I have been for pretty much a month.
So many things to do. I even have to wash my own delicates now. with my bare hands. :( I couldn't find any coin laundry around....
I am tired of the Mexican food now. I used to have all kinds of different dishes. Such a variety in the States: Chinese, Italian, Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, American, Korean, Taiwanese... here, only Mexican... :( And what's up with closing at 8:00pm? I can't find anything decen to eat after 8 and my new Mexican boss expects me to work till 8... :)
Oh, well, still the weather is very good for me. I like it nice and warm. It's never realy too hot. that's a plus. my hands are okay here. Maybe it is because my work at NeoPhotonics was not going anywhere and I hated the whole ISO thing... Man, it was a killer...

3 weeks now

It's been 3 weeks since I started working for Owens Corning. I haven't got the visa yet, even though it has been in process for almost 4 months now. I wouldn't be surprised if it takes longer than 6 months. I heard of that before.
Now work is getting heavier and heavier as they want to see some results. I have been pushing the supplier in China to give me a quote. Internally, people are not really cooperative. Or they work in a slow motion, it seems. I have to call and push them to give me answers.
Owens Corning, Toledo is doing fine. They reply really quickly. I like that.
Anyway, more to come about work and life in Mexico City.

Mexico V. S. Iran

Yes, 3-1, Mexico kicked Iran's ass. It was fun watching my first football game. Especially with all the fanatic mexicans here. shouting and cheering... I will keep watching the games till Mexico loses... We all know the mexican team is not the strongest. In the meantime, I will wear green to support Mexico.

So far, so good. Viva Mexico.
Patricia Hernandez is very, very hot...

Mexico - The City of Hope

Today is officially my first at work in Mexico, even though I was in the training for the day.
Everyone is very cool and bilingual. I did my training mostly in Spanish. I guess that's improvement. I want to keep on improving myself.
Other poeple have their kids to invest themselves on, but I only have myself to invest on. I know I have to keep moving. I'm always moving on.
I"m moving on till I find my boyfriend. All the mexican guys are pretty cute. I guess the Spanish-Indian combination is quite nice.
Tomorrow is another tranining day.
Ciao.
